Title of Entry: Better Than Ever

About this Entry: This spring, Missouri State University students, alumni and employees needed an emotional boost in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yes, MSU would have in-person classes in the fall. Yes, the university would have athletics, student organizations and provide an on-campus experience. That mattered to students and their families. The office of visual media and office of university communications collaborated to create an inspirational video that acknowledged the state of the university’s shutdown, but also provided an optimistic look ahead to the future. As President Clif Smart said in the narration, “When the experiences we all love return, we’ll have a fresh perspective and it will all mean a little bit more.” The overarching theme? "Missouri State is coming back. And we’ll be better than ever.”
